Accessibility features on admaritime.ae

We have applied many features to admaritime.ae to help you navigate the site. Following is a comprehensive list which we encourage you to read. We have included useful ways to help you navigate the site and will continue to review and update our accessibility features to meet WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines.

Features

Text to Speech (Screen Reader)

Those with visual impairments or who wish to avoid eye strain can listen to the content instead of reading it. admaritime.ae uses an industry-leading screen reader that speaks aloud all page contents without needing to install an external reader.

Dictionary

For further understanding or clarification, admaritime.ae gives users access to dictionary lookups without needing to leave the website.

Bigger Text

Those with impaired ability to read smaller text can view images through four different levels of size increase to make every part of admaritime.ae more readable.

Change Color (Saturation and Smart Contrast)

Those who find it hard to read certain text in the given background colour combinations or intensity can change the intensity of colours across admaritime.ae website to high, low or grayscale or invert colours of the website between light and dark contrast modes.

Highlight Links

For those who need to identify highlight links easily, admaritime.ae has been designed to emphasise links, buttons, and other interactive elements in clear, high-contrast colours for easier site usability, navigation, and overall accessibility.

Pause Animations

For those who may be distracted by animations, blinking and flashing, admaritime.ae has been designed to pause content that moves or auto-updates that can be considered an accessibility barrier.

Text Spacing, Height or Alignment

For those who require improved readability, admaritime.ae has been designed to modify text and line spacing and offers three degrees of adjustment for personalised and more accessible reading. This includes line-height to ensure comfortable spacing for all on-site text and the option to align text to the left, right or centre.

Dyslexia Friendly

To enhance readability for those with dyslexia, admaritime.ae has been designed to provide a more accessible and fluid reading experience tailored to site visitors with dyslexia.

Big Cursor

For those who require more visibility, admaritime.ae cursor size can be increased by 400% to ensure the pointer remains in sight, allowing faster and more accessible navigation through hyperlinks, tabs, and form elements.

Tooltips

For low-vision users, tooltips are incorporated throughout admaritime.ae to show alternative text and ARIA labels for on-screen elements with a simple mouse hover, making them prominent, high contrast, and easy to read.
